FLORAL DESIGNER

The Tallas House & Gardens, a Special Events Venue is looking for talented individual to work as Floral Designer for upcoming events. This is a great opportunity for growth and to be a part of a close-knit team of event professionals. Candidate needs to possess knowledge of domestic and exotic flowers and also be able to work with both fresh and silk flowers. This is a part-time position (20+hrs) must be available to work some weekends. Candidate must have good writing skills, be innovative, organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task. Must be able to meet with customers during business hours and weekends (times will vary) and have good listening skills in order to create designs with individual flair. Candidate should have some training and at least one-year experience in floral design. Candidate needs to have reliable transportation and knowledge of wholesale locations in which to purchase flowers. Candidate should be professional, extremely time conscious and work well with others. Please email resume & photos of your work. Compensation: $9.00 hr. w/ potential to earn commission
